Part-time 20-30 hours per week with schedule flexibility!

Scheduling Coordinator

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
A. Assigns client visits to direct care staff, ensuring all supervisory and recertification (when
applicable) visits are scheduled/coded appropriately. Assists with changes in staff
schedules and reassigns clients appropriately.
B. Processes appropriate employee updates, Client-related Tasks and Coordination Notes in
Point of Care (POC) system. Runs daily reports, checks orders sent and received and
follows-up as needed.
C. Responsible for preparing, processing and submitting payroll and distributing payroll
checks to staff in accordance with corporate guidelines and time line.
D. Assists with the interview and orientation processes for direct care staff.
E. Provides general administrative support by answering telephones, scheduling
appointments, ordering supplies, scheduling meetings and recording meeting minutes;
receives and routes mail; maintains petty cash disbursement records; responsible for
office space maintenance.
F. Responsible for participating in after-hours and weekend on-call as required.
G. Follows all privacy policies of the organization and maintains the confidentiality of
protected healthcare information (PHI). Maintains familiarity with all State and Federal
Laws governing home care and non-medical services and follows those laws

Position Qualifications:
1. High School graduate or equivalent.
2. Basic computer knowledge and organizational skills.
3. Excellent interpersonal relations, exceptional telephone and problem solving skills.
4. Knowledge of common medical terminology.
5. Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.
6. Read, write, speak, and understand instructions in order to perform all tasks.
