Job Description

The Implementation Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to the Implementation Team to ensure the successful implementation of new clients. The Implementation Support Specialist may be required to travel to multiple locations nationwide to assist with onsite implementation and enrollment as needed.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

A. Establishes and maintains relationships with new clients. Coordinates internal/ external resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of client implementation.
B. Works closely with the Implementation Team to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
C. Consults with clients to understand their practice in order to guide and drive the client towards the best process for their practice.
D. Works with clients to understand their electronic medical record system, documents process and provides training to internal team.
E. Conducts support calls with the client project team and client during all phases of implementation.
F. Provides general support to Implementation Team and client which includes developing and maintaining schedules, managing the delivery of collaterals and training materials, interfacing with internal resources to keep implementation schedule on track.
G. Understands the Medicare benefits associated with Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Transition Care Management (TCM) and articulates the benefits of the program(s) and the impact to their continued wellness plan to Medicare beneficiaries and utilizes this broad knowledge to recommend solutions to the Implementation Team and client when appropriate.
H. Exchanges routine information with members of the client project team including priorities and issues as they arise
I. Follows all privacy policies and maintains the confidentiality of protected healthcare information (PHI)
J. Provides general office support and administrative functions as directed.

Position Qualifications:

1. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in maintaining medical records and performing data entry tasks within a physician’s office, hospital or similar setting preferred.
2. Experience with a variety of electronic medical records systems and ability to quickly master new systems.
3. Strong data entry and verbal/written communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
4. Excellent customer service skills.
5. Adaptability to work with various disciplines in multiple locations.
6. Flexibility to handle a workload that fluctuates greatly and consistently based on needs.
