HR Services Specialist (Recruiting/Staffing)

Job Description Summary:

The HR Services Specialist will provide excellent customer service and quality home care services by recruiting, developing and maintaining continuous direct care staff inventory as required by the agency. Delivers new employee customer service training program and maintains all personnel and administrative records for the agency.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

A. Proactively anticipates recruiting needs. Seeks/sources, interviews and on-boards quality direct care staff. Maintains an excellent level of customer service by establishing predetermined levels of direct care staff inventory to ensure the agency has staff ready to begin assignment at all times to meet client needs.

B. Contacts, screens and schedules interviews for applicants and sourced prospects. Supports the Staffing Coordinator and/or Director of Operations in the selection and assignment process of direct care staff to clients.

C. Facilitates local recruiting events to build a strong presence in the community. Develops and fosters strong relationships with community recruiting resources and seeks to identify new resources.

D. Following corporate guidelines, establishes and maintains personnel records for all agency employees, administrative records and all policies and procedures. Maintains all agency files to include storage and retrieval.

E. Oversees all employee renewable requirements and ensures that all conditions have been met and evidenced by applicable documentation.

F. Coordinates and facilitates the presentation of the Vista Customer Service Program to all agency employees.

G. Participates in after-hours and weekend on-call as required.

H. Follows all privacy policies and maintains the confidentiality of protected healthcare information (PHI). Maintains familiarity with all State and Federal Laws governing home care and private duty services and follows those laws appropriately.

HR Services Specialist (Recruiting/Staffing)

Position Qualifications:

1. Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a related field (communications, business management, human resources). Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

2. General knowledge of business office administration along with one to two years’ health care, home care or staffing experience is strongly preferred.

3. Demonstrated strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
